MWCのこのシリーズの元祖時計は、12/24時間表示の米国型時計で、現在も製造されています。これらの時計は、1960年代から1970年代初頭のベトナム戦争時に米軍が使用していたものとほぼ同じ外観を保っています。最後の画像は、MWCが現在も製造を続ける各種モデルの原点となったオリジナル時計の一つを示しています。

欧州型のバリエーションは、販売店や顧客から米国型時計に似たモデルで、英国NATOスタイルの文字盤を持つものを求める声が多かったために導入されました。その結果、MWCは1970年代初頭のモデルを基にした英国文字盤デザインを開発しました。これらの時計は、1960年代から1970年代に米英両軍の時計で一般的に使われていたプラスチック製のアクリル風防を採用しています。実際、現在でも一部の英国軍用時計はアクリル風防を使用しています。

これらの現代版時計は最後の画像にある1960年代のモデルに似ていますが、オリジナルは米軍の使い捨てを目的としてプラスチック製でした。しかし、プラスチック製時計はオリジナルと同様の制約を持っています。そこでMWCの設計チームは約15年前に時計を全面的に再設計しました。外観、重さ、手触りはそのままに、全金属製に改良し、耐久性と品質を大幅に向上させつつ、古風な趣を保っています。
